Château du Fresne
The Château du Fresne vineyard is located in the heart of Anjou, overlooking the Layon on a 90 hectare estate. Yannis, David and Nicolas are artisan winegrowers who continue the tradition of several generations to ensure regular and responsible diversified production. The vines are located largely in the commune of Faye d'Anjou on schisto-sandstone soils composed of square stone and quartz, the wines are therefore very distinctive. The other part of production is on the left bank of the Layon, on sand and gravel soils producing lighter wines.
