Notes de dégustation

Clear cherry color. Aromatic and distinguished nose with generous aromas of stone fruits and black fruits. Fruity, rich, full and generous palate. The tannins are elegant, firm and supple. The body is structured and the intensity persists.

Vinification

Manual harvest with successive sorting in the vineyard and in the cellar. Vinification without sulphites. Maceration of 15/18 days with temperature control. Gentle pressing on a pneumatic press. Aged in concrete vats for 15 months. Bottled at the estate.

Exploitation familiale depuis 1956, le Domaine Bertrand s'étend sur 15,5 hectares au pied de la colline de Brouilly. Maryse, Jean Pierre et leur fils Julien apportent un soin particulier à l'élaboration des différentes cuvées issues du Gamay pour les vins rouges et du Chardonnay pour les vins blancs dans la pure tradition beaujolaise. Depuis 2017, le vignoble est en conversion vers l'Agriculture Biologique. La certification sera disponible à partir du millésime 2020.
