Notes de dégustation

Deep ruby ​​color with cherry highlights. Fine and generous nose with intense aromas of blackcurrant, black fruits and spices as well as light aromas of vanilla. Subtle, intense and full palate, we find notes of blackcurrant and vanilla. The tannins are firm and round, the body is powerful and the persistence in the mouth is intense and long.

Vinification

Reasoned culture. Using sorting tables. Fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel vats, cold pre-fermentation maceration. Aging in barrels and stainless steel vats.

Situé à 45 minutes de Pau, à Viella dans le Gers, le Château du Pouey est un domaine viticole familial de 22 hectares. En 2012, Bastien Lannusse, passionné par la vigne et le vin, prend les rênes du domaine à la suite de son père et donne au Château du Pouey une nouvelle impulsion tournée vers l’avenir et l’agriculture durable. Les vins, plusieurs fois primés, sont alors à son image : droit, authentique et généreux.
