Notes de dégustation

This rosé Champagne has a brilliant orange-pink color with copper highlights. The nose is expressive and marked by aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and cherries. The palate is structured, vinous but remains fresh.

Vinification

This champagne is composed of a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier from 50 to 60 different vintages. Its structure is based on the traditional style of Brut Carte Jaune, the benchmark of the Veuve Clicquot house. Finally the blend is completed by 12% red wines which give this vintage its pink color and its character. A long aging period of at least three years in the chalk pits completes the winemaking.

La Maison Veuve Clicquot possède l'un des plus importants vignobles de Champagne. Ce n’est pas moins de 390 hectares qui sont répartis sur 12 des 17 Grands Crus et 20 des 44 Premiers Crus que compte le vignoble champenois. Constitué au fil des siècles, ce patrimoine exceptionnel porte particulièrement l'empreinte de Madame Clicquot. Le relief en coteaux donne au vignoble une exposition optimale aux rayons du soleil. Les vignes sont exposées au climat septentrional sans trop forte pluviométrie, ni chaleurs excessives, et avec de belles arrière-saisons.
