Domaine Louis Max

Domaine Louis Max, located in Mercurey and Rully on around twenty hectares, is entirely cultivated organically and certified by Ecocert. This Estate is one of the largest organic farming estates in all of Burgundy, and contains the famous Clos la Marche, in Monopole.

  • Winemaking

    Manual harvest with rigorous sorting of the grapes before vinification. Fermentation and aging in oak barrels for 12 months, with stirring. Complete malolactic fermentation.

  • Tasting notes

    The Les Rochelles vintage from Domaine Louis Max has a beautiful white gold color. An intense nose with notes of exotic fruits and citrus fruits combined with notes of white flowers and honey. On the palate this wine brings a lovely freshness and a lot of elegance.
