Notes de dégustation

This white wine has a pale yellow color. On the nose, the aromas of lemon predominate then assert themselves towards notes of acacia and thyme. The attack on the palate is fresh, it reveals a nice tension and reveals aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers.

Vinification

Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature then malolactic fermentation. Aging for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel vats completes the vinification before bottling.

La Maison Louis Latour a exporté son savoir-faire bourguignon sur les Coteaux de l'Ardèche dès la fin des années 70. Après 12 ans d'expérimentation, la maison Latour a sélectionné avec soin des terroirs d'exception où s'épanouit pleinement le Chardonnay. Cépage blanc des Grands Crus de Bourgogne, il bénéficie en Ardèche d'un climat méditerranéen dans une région qui ne souffre pas de conditions extrêmes. La météo étant moins incertaine qu'en Bourgogne, la richesse en sucre est toujours suffisante pour l'élaboration de grands vins sans enrichissement.
