Domaine de Longue Toque

Owned by Maison Gabriel Meffre, the Domaine de Longue Toque is nestled in the heart of the Gigondas vineyards, at the foot of the majestic Dentelles de Montmirail since 1918. It is located on a mosaic of terroirs, each drawing its originality from geological layers, altitudes and particular orientations. The vines are managed in organic farming.

  • Winemaking

    Light pumping over during the 22-day maceration period made it possible to extract tannins of remarkable finesse. The perfect control of temperatures during the fermentation phase revealed extremely elegant red fruit aromas. Aging in vats for a period of 9 months.

  • Tasting notes

    On the nose, the bouquet is scented with black berries, peppery herbs, lavender and garrigue. On the palate, the tannins are balanced and fine. We find a complex aromatic palette ranging from raspberry to violet through spicy touches of liquorice and white pepper. A wine with a round and supple texture as well as a great finish.
