Notes de dégustation
Deep purple dress. Elegant nose nose of spices and black fruits, slightly vanilla, notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, and more lightly rose associated with touches of violet as well as fine hints of pepper. The attack on the palate is velvety with a touch of bitterness which brings a nice complexity. The tannic structure only arrives on the finish surrounded by flavors of fresh figs and violet.
Vinification
Mechanical harvest. Traditional vinification in concrete vats. Gentle extraction and vatting in 2-3 weeks to add as much fruit as possible. Aged for 14 months in vats.
