Notes de dégustation
The color is intense ruby color. The intense nose is dominated by scents of stewed fruits. The palate is structured and fleshy with powerful tannins.
Vinification
Cold fermentation for 4 days and gentle fermentation at 27° for 32 days. Aged in barrels as soon as fermentation is finished for 12 months, 60% of which are new barrels.

C’est dans la prestigieuse appellation Saint-Estèphe, que s’étendent les vignes du Château Cossieu-Coutelin, à 60 km au nord-ouest de Bordeaux, sur des croupes graveleuses qui contribuent à la production d’un vin d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Au Château Cossieu-Coutelin, propriété de la famille Quancard depuis 1977, une fusion rêvée s’opère entre le vin et le chêne merrain, créant cette idéale harmonie où, ni le boisé, ni la rondeur et la longueur, ne s’impose.
